Under the title "Climate and Energy Projects: Perspectives for Cooperation in the Upper Rhine Region", project ideas will be developed at this year's Climate and Energy Congress of the Upper Rhine Conference in order to concretize the implementation of the climate strategy of the Upper Rhine Trinational Metropolitan Region (TMO).
President Frédéric Bierry is the new speaker of the "Policy" pillar of the TMO (the Upper Rhine Conference is part of this pillar) and host of the congress. He will open the congress alongside Prof. Dr. Hannes Kopf, President of the SGD Süd and Chairman of the "Climate and Energy" Expert Committee of the Upper Rhine Conference.
This will be followed by three program blocks (see draft program):

• Regional energy transition and identification of cooperation potentials.
• Framework for the promotion of joint climate and energy projects
• Exchange on potential projects in thematic workshops

The congress is aimed at climate and energy actors in the Upper Rhine region who are interested in cross-border cooperation and would like to develop a concrete project as a sponsor or partner. Participation is free of charge but registration is required by September 25.
The event will take place in the morning present and online.
